By Jakob Haselsberger, President GC Kitzbüheler Alpen Westendorf: »10 years of Alpine golfing pleasure«

As an architect, I have a lot to do with project development and came into contact with the golf project in Westendorf. Over time, golf and the golf course have become a project close to my heart.

On the one hand, it is important to me to maintain and constantly improve the top quality of the course and the service. On the other hand, it is important to us to live the culture of hospitality that is so important in Westendorf for our members and guests, and to offer everyone wonderful and unforgettable (golf) moments. Of course, the special features of our course also contribute to this: The course is nestled in the Kitzbühel Alps with magnificent panoramic views, but is flat and easy to walk throughout.

As we celebrate our tenth anniversary this year, we are particularly pleased with the positive development and the great progress in quality in all areas. And with our inclusion in the circle of Leading Golf Courses three years ago, the course has finally become known as one of the top courses in Austria and beyond. We benefit from the exchange with the Leading Golf partner clubs and from the anonymous quality tests, which show us any weaknesses. These tests are the basis for the continuous improvement of the course, the infrastructure and the entire facility that we strive for.
