I have been a member of Schönborn for 32 years and have held various positions in the golf sector since 1999: It started with the European Tour events in Fontana and later in Atzenbrugg, where I was responsible for the overall organisation. I also organised numerous company golf tournaments and series. And now, as Managing Director in Schönborn, I have returned to my roots, where it all began 32 years ago.

In addition to the reopening of the temporarily closed golf restaurant, the maintenance of the course naturally takes centre stage. This represents a perfect symbiosis of historical heritage and sporting excellence. The exclusive and unique ambience of the 27-hole course - 18 holes of which are embedded in the idyllic castle park with its impressive backdrop of trees - is perfectly complemented by perfectly manicured fairways and fast greens.

The club is one of the most beautiful in Austria and has been awarded the annually reviewed Leading Golf Course seal of quality for many years. We are committed to high quality standards in all areas, from the clubhouse and golf school to the course, practice facilities and club restaurant. Since this year, Norbert Pavelec has once again been providing the perfect culinary finale after a great game.
