By Kwang Min Rhee, President GCC Brunn am Gebirge: »GARDEN OF EDEN WITH 18 HOLES«

Since 1988, our golf club has been a green oasis in the middle of the industrial area south of Vienna - a "Garden of Eden" according to the Asian philosophy for sport, recreation and leisure, where you feel at home. A few years ago, my father, founder and honorary president Chong Ho Rhee, handed over the management of the club to my wife Kinga and me. Our aim is to continue to develop the golf course and provide a comprehensive range of services to members and guests alike.

After an extensive period of remodelling, our goal was to be accepted into the group of "The Leading Golf Courses". In Simon Mechtler, we have an experienced Head Greenkeeper and a great team for this great and exciting challenge. The investment and effort soon bore fruit: with ball roll speeds between 12 and 14 stimp metres, our greens are now among the fastest and most challenging in Austria! 

In addition to the highest quality standards for the course, the many criteria surrounding the course - from the entrance to the overall ambience, from the pro shop to the catering facilities - are also decisive. The two years of hard work to achieve Candidate status have paid off and we are proud!
