"Hey, you should really consider taking up golf! It's a lot of fun and athletically challenging. You'll meet cool people your own age and you'll never get bored". That's how a friend of mine convinced me to take up golf about seven years ago. I was 11 at the time and my family knew nothing about golf. But now even my parents are into it.

What I really like about our home club in Himberg is the wide range of golfing activities on offer: The two championship courses are fantastic and always in top condition. But that's not all - there are excellent training facilities and a really good golf school. The people in the secretariat are extremely friendly and well organised. Then there's the top restaurant and, as if that wasn't enough, there's tennis, a spa and a pool in the summer! It's just a blast!

My family is very interested in culture - and I think that's why we feel so at home in Himberg: it's about more than "just" golf: here, golf is lived as culture! It's too bad that I can't be there for a whole year from autumn because I'm doing a year at school abroad in Spain - in Sotogrande. At least that's a golf cult. Also cool!
