Franz Wittmann, Owner & President GC Adamstal: »multiple awarded«

Our championship course is obviously a favorite of everyone who has played it once - the awards speak for itself: it has often been voted "Austrian Golf Course of the Year" and has been ranked among the most popular golf courses in Europe several times.

Back then it took a little courage and a vision to wrest 27 extraordinary golf holes from untouched nature in the Lower Austrian district of Lilienfeld at the foot of the Unterberg in the most densely wooded area of ​​Central Europe. And if you've been here before, you know there are actually 28 holes.

I discovered my passion for golf as a former rally driver in New Zealand between my races. Out of the passion grew the desire to build my own golf course, which then became a member of the honorable group of the Leading Golf Courses from the very beginning.

I see the greatest advantage of this quality brand in the external quality control, which guarantees objective results through anonymous testers and ensures that we in the club do not become "operationally blind". And in addition to the high marketing image, there is also the benefit of the optional “Leading Golf Card” for our club members in the form of playing rights on the other Leading Golf Courses.
