Golf at the highest level: »What remains is joy« Golf at the highest level ... This is not just a claim, but a promise from the LEADING GOLF COURSES. Representatives of the member companies tell about the ideas and values behind.

By Verena Horn, 31 years old, Hcp 4.2, multiple club champion at GC Schladming-Dachstein: »What remains is joy«

I would have loved to defend my club championship title in Schladming last year, but the birth of our first child, Johann, prevented me from doing so. Speaking of which, I was born into golf and the whole area was a huge playground for me as a child. Later, I spent more of my summer holidays on the golf course than in the swimming pool. My father was the club manager in Schladming for many years and in that role was one of the main initiators of the founding of the Leading Golf Courses in 1999.

The idea of this quality association has not changed to this day: A brand, an award, for a group of golf clubs that have committed themselves to the highest standards and have these regularly checked by anonymous testers. I love playing at Leading Golf Courses because I know in advance that I'm not only going to have a great golfing experience, but that I'm going to have a great day - from the moment I arrive to the 19th hole.

What I like most about our golf course, apart from the fantastic scenery, is the outstanding design - created by two-time German major winner Bernhard Langer. Each hole has its own subtleties and challenges, but is fair and forgiving for all handicaps. At the end of each round of golf, the focus is always on enjoyment!

With sporty greetings!
