Golf Course Royal Bled The Leading Golf Courses

The former Yugoslav king Aleksander Karadorevic chose Bled as his summer residence after the First World War. The first round of golf was played in Bled in 1937 and the expansion to 18 holes was completed in 1938. With Donald Harradine, the course was renovated and redesigned a few decades later. In 2015, the entire course underwent a comprehensive renovation. With the redesign, the complex was able to live up to its royal reputation and claim and now bears the name Royal Bled.

The King's Course Championship course is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and spectacular golf courses in the world. Between the breathtaking mountain scenery of the Julian Alps and the valleys that run through it, golfers can enjoy themselves in absolute tranquillity. The 9-hole Lake Course - originally signed by Donals Harradine - is the perfect blend of challenging holes and spectacular scenery.

The elegant and cosy clubhouse with its large terrace overlooking the mountains invites you to enjoy a relaxed meal. King's House has ten comfortable and fully equipped guest rooms, Lake House four more.
